Age: 20 1/2 months
Some of the things you do:
When we tell you something, you sometimes respond, "Oh."
I often catch you taking the DVDs out of their cases and "cleaning" them off with your shirt.
You wanted to use the big toilet and afterwards when you went to flush, you first grabbed a piece of toilet paper so that you had a barrier between you and the toilet handle.
You only want to wear "tane ta" aka tank tops, and your brother's Vans. I am going to make a guess now that you are going to be a bit of a tomboy.
Sometimes you run from me and say, "Nah, nah, nah, nah," which you obviously learned from your brother.
As of last week, you now sleep with zip up footed pajamas on at both nap and bedtime since you decided to start taking your diaper off in your crib.
You like to point out and say, "Ana" at all of the Frozen characters you see on the girl's clothing when we are at Jude's school.
You are tough! Two weeks back you had scraped knees, elbows, hands and a raspberry on your chin from falling on a walk. The next day you fell on the wood floors and got a huge fat lip. For the rest of the week you looked like you had been in a street fight.
You sing, "Bump, bump," a request for the song, Latch.
You climb on EVERYTHING.
You beg to watch videos on my phone, especially of RaRa.
You climb on top of the drum with the drumstick as a microphone and mimic your brother singing, "Everybody..." - Everybody Wants to be a Cat from the Aristocats.
You have become a much better and more independent sleeper but many nights you still want your Daddy to hold your hand until you fall asleep.
You love to take selfies on my phone.
Your favorite foods include: raisins, cheese, chocolate, blueberries, raspberries, tuna, pancakes, grapes, Haggo's for lunch with your brother and Dad, cheese pizza, oatmeal, pasta, salmon, baby pouches, applesauce, carrots ... You actually like many foods but are liking vegetables less than you used to.
You are starting to get VERY opinionated about your clothing.
You can say many different words and really understand a lot.
You like to color with crayons, play, run, get into absolutely everything, go to the park, look through photo books, go outside and play with the neighbor kids and above all, spend time with your family, especially, RaRa, Pa and Nana.
